Rolling Road Car Tuning, so that your engine will be tuned
whilst it is in "driving conditions". When properly tuned, your
engine will deliver higher performance, better fuel efficiency
or be "mapped" to give you the performance that you want.
‘piggyback’ engine management.
experienced in the supply, fitting, configuration and
mapping of both complete standalone ecu replacements,
such as MoTeC, AEM and PowerFC, aswell as piggyback fuel
and ignition controllers, such as the Greddy Emanage
Configuration and mapping of standalone ECUs includes
Idle. Configuration of pwm IACVs and stepper motors
along with ignition and fuel strategies to give a
steady idle where possible. This includes closed
loop feedback and lambda control. Additionally we
have a gas exhaust analyser akin to MOT stations, so
that we can make sure your car passes MOT emissions
Completion of fuel and ignition maps, tuned on the
chassis dynamometer and with our Horiba Mexa 110
laboratory grade lambda monitor. We can ensure that
your car is tuned to minimum best ignition timing
with both ‘steady state’ tuning and also power runs.
Boost control. Some ecus allow for closed loop
boost control and some ecus have no boost control,
so you are reliant on a 3rd party boost
controller. We are experienced in configuring
both. For boost controllers, we recommend the HKS
EVC series as they are mappable, and as HKS F-Con
dealers we have the equipment and software to map
the EVC boost controllers.
Knock management. We use electronic knock detection
equipment to detect any incorrect detonation
events. Where the ecu has active knock control, we
will then configure this to safeguard your engine
against the possibility of detonation and knock.
Racefuel and nitrous oxide. Additional maps for
race fuel and nitrous oxide can be configured within
most standalone ecus, and we are happy to offer this
Antilag and Launch Control. Custom configuration
for antilag and launch control can be completed at
Traction control. This can form part of your
standalone ecu, or a 3rd party such as
requirements are, we can offer the complete solution for
total engine and performance management.
Remapping of standard ECUs.
We are currently
working on increasing the list of vehicles that can have
their standard engine management systems remapped.
