Data Acquisition
The facility offers consistent repeatable test cycles with
powerful reporting capabilities - reporting on such data as BHP,
Torque, engine temperatures, engine pressures and AFR. This is a
small subset of the overall reporting capability of the system.
Austec can custom design reports according to customer
specification and requirement.
Throttle and Load Control
One of the main problems with Dynamoter testing is the
variance of the Dyno operator's contol of the throttle and
loading during testing - leading to inaccurate data. Austec's
Stuska Trackmaster resolves this situation with its
revolutionary QuikStik LC throttle and Automatic Load Control,
allowing us to perform smooth repeatable tests while maintaining
a natural sweep of the engine. This removes all operator error,
giving 100% repeatability of test results.
The system uses feedback from the engine and
dynamometer to automatically maintain desired load points and
sweep rates. In addition, users can sweep up or down at a wide
range of rates.
